a Love Letter

I was born and raised in Motown by a loving family and community who have always been my greatest influence, inspiration and source of energy.  I found my voice in high school, studying under the incomparable Nina R. Scott.  After graduating, I let singing go for a while.  After many years of silence and finally coming out in 2012, I found the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, a group of incredible and beautiful people who helped me find my voice again.

So here I am, a solo artist, but one who is stepping out for the LGBTQ+ community and all those who have helped me get here.  My message...L.O.V.E.

(L)ive (O)penly & (V)alue (E)veryone

To my Mom, my first and biggest fan, I love you and miss you more than I could ever express in words.  Thank you for continuing to guide me.
